On Saturday, July 25th, twenty four teams turned out to compete for the title at the 8th installment of the annual adidas Fanatic soccer tournament in New York. Special prizes were awarded to the winning team, runner-up, and those with the best customized jerseys and best team spirit, with dGi Dillingers taking the coveted FANATIC trophy along with the grand prize in a classic and intense final game with a 1-0 victory, while runner-up Bowery United , best team spirited PSYOP, and the “best dressed” Opening Ceremony were honored with medals and special prizes as well. Swag included gift cards to adidas’ local Sport Performance and Originals stores as well as top of the line soccer boots for the winning team, and of course, bragging rights until 2010.

Ontario raspberry season is upon us!

 Raspberries are part of the rose family. The fruit are thought of as berries, but each berry is actually a cluster of 'drupes' (fruit with stones in the middle like a peach). Raspberries come in a wide variety of colours including white, yellow, orange, pink and purple. The darker the berry the higher in antioxidants. Gatorade Commemorates Michael Jordan

In commemoration of Michael Jordan’s induction into the NBA Hall of Fame, Gatorade organized a special commercial which gave lucky individuals the chance to participate. Taking place at a secret Chicago location, the commercials marquee piece was a mosaic created out of a stunning 19,200 bottles of upside-down Gatorade bottles to replicate one of MJ’s most iconic images of all-time.
